Yorkshire Artspace

Yorkshire Artspace provides studio space to over 160 artists and makers across three studio sites in Sheffield.

We aim to be a centre of excellence for the support of artists and makers, providing good quality, affordable studio space and delivering a professional development programme, which offers residency opportunities, grants, bursaries and subsidised Starter Studios.

Established in 1977 by art graduates, Yorkshire Artspace was one of the first studio groups developed outside of London, where the studio movement began in the late 1960’s. Since then we’ve grown to become one of the largest and most established studio providers in the UK.
