Making Jewellery with Annette Petch

Jeweller Annette Petch has still some places left on her Saturday jewellery making courses on 23rd March and 20th April from 10am to 4pm in her Studio at Manor Oaks.   On this course you will design and make a piece of silver jewellery (possibly a ring to fit your finger, a pendant, or a pair of earrings). No previous experience necessary. The maximum group size is 4, so you will benefit from individual tuition. You will be made familiar with techniques such as cutting and shaping, annealing, silver soldering, etching, chasing, roller texturing and patination. Please bring footwear suitable for a workshop environment as you will be using heavy and sharp equipment. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided, and lunch can be purchased from the Rhubarb Shed café on site. There is car parking and the studio is also accessible by public transport (busses 22, 25 and 25A - from Arundel Gate to the 1st stop on Harbour Avenue - walk up Manor Lane). Please email Annette to book a place or phone her on 07952 235985.

Courses tend to fill up quickly so early booking is recommended. For more information about Annette and her work go to her website . Cost: £90 + materials per person per day. Location: Studio 1, Manor Oaks Studios, 389 Manor Lane, Sheffield, S2 1UL
