At the crossroads of biotechnologies, biology and the human body, my work combines visual arts and collaborations with scientists to create surreal and diegetic objects or installations. I make concepts tangible through sculpture, combining silicone, perplex and pigments. Combined with photography and video, these sculptures and installations become narrative. Playing with the visceral and the liminality between reality and fiction, the works created, physical or digital, act as a provocation, stimulating the imagination of the viewer.
By intertwining life sciences, storytelling and design, my practice consists of creating futuristic and alternative scenarios to think differently. I seek to engage the general public in current bioethical, bio-political and bio-social discussions by revealing the invisible.
