Claire uses a variety of ceramic methods and clay types to respond to themes of pattern and form in the natural world. Her bold, simple work celebrates the elemental nature of clay and the firing process. She often pit-fires or wood-fires, welcoming the chance markings that these bring to the finished work.

Claire sells nationally and locally at ceramic fairs and galleries, with exhibitions including the Cupola Gallery, Sheffield, and London in 2024.
