Working in porcelain and stoneware, Becca Brown combines drawing, painting and printmaking to build narrative on the surface of decorative handbuilt ceramics. Fingerprints, brushstrokes and marks of making are intentionally left exposed to accentuate the relationship between vessel and subject.

With inspiration gathered from observations in her surroundings alongside imagery from half-remembered Scottish superstitions and old wives tales, Becca aims to capture moments of human connection and intimacy.
