Yorkshire Artspace Open Studios 2015

Discover something special at Yorkshire Artspace Open Studios. Whether you’re looking to buy a special Christmas present, enjoy a day with the family, top up your culture levels or simply treat yourself, try Yorkshire Artspace Open Studios, 20th - 22nd November.

Spread across three sites in Sheffield, 150 artists will open to the public, showcasing and selling their work - ceramicists, jewellers, designers, painters, metalsmiths, illustrators, sculptors and textile artists.

There’ll be free family-friendly activities, workshops and studio-based demonstrations for you to enjoy on Saturday and Sunday, plus pop-up cafés at all three sites; The Hop Box and Pie Eyed (Persistence Works on Friday evening), Cafe Motore (Persistence Works on Saturday and Sunday) , Tea with Percie (Exchange Place Studios on Saturday and Sunday) and The Rhubarb Shed (Manor Oaks Studios on Saturday and Sunday).

Persistence Works highlights (Friday) The Hop Box and Pie Eyed with craft beer and homemade pies to fuel our special evening event; (Saturday and Sunday) drop in drawing activity session with Tessa Lyons, metalwork and jewellery have a go session, poetry reading, Italian coffee and cakes by Cafe Motore

Exchange Place highlights (Saturday and Sunday) Winter lantern making workshop, short film showing, Mary Queen of Scots haunting

Manor Oaks highlights (Saturday and Sunday) Free on site parking, farm shop, the Rhubarb Shed cafe will be serving hot food until 3pm both days, the Sheffield Manor Lodge event, paint a deer workshop, raku pottery firing, have a go on a potters wheel, other ceramics activities.
