To foster new talent and support early career silversmiths/jewellers and ceramists, Yorkshire Artspace 2 Starter Studio Programmes designed to help ambitious and entrepreneurial artists who are at an early career stage to develop their skills and creative enterprises in a supportive environment, the programmes offer: access to shared workspace with equipment, technical and mentor support, business advice, commission and/or exhibition opportunities.

On Thursday 27th June Yorkshire Artspace representatives will be at New Designers to talk about our wonderful studios in Sheffield and our fantastic startup studios for early career ceramists and silversmiths/jewellers.  

We will be walking round to look at work and talk to the designer makers who have graduated from the many universities present at New Designers.  But we are also involved in the Start Up day where programme manager Mir Jansen will be part of a specialist panel to talk about our studios and the range of start-up programmes available to early career graduates in visual arts, crafts and design.

New Designers takes place at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London N1 0QH (tube station: Angel) 10 am to 6pm
