Mexican born USA artist Edith Garcia has been in residence at Yorkshire Artspace's Manor Oaks Studios since January 2012.  She presented her work and her new book: Ceramics and the Human Figure (published by A&C Black) and talked about the various international residencies she has undertaken over the last few years.

Her talk co-incided with the launch of the new MADE NORTH Gallery at Persistence Works.  Edith signed copies of her book which were available for sale on the evening and can still be ordered from Amazon.
