Using the traditional European folk tale 'Stone Soup' as a starting point, artist Emilie Taylor and a group of people from Sage Greenfingers have produced an exhibition of work that explores ideas of welcome and sharing.
Through weekly encounters, the group have worked with their natural surroundings and explored slow craft processes including ceramics and woodcraft. Their work is displayed in our gallery at Persistence Works until Saturday 30th September.
Visitors to the exhibition are welcome to take home a commemorative tea towel with an accompanying text about the project.
Sage provide support for adults across Sheffield who have experienced mental illness through gardening, arts and crafts, and music. Stone Soup was funded by Arts Council England.
