We’re delighted to have partnered with Sheffield Hallam University to produce Stars on Starting Out, an exciting aspect of Catalyst: Festival of Creativity.

Stars on Starting Out aims to encourage and support emerging and progressing artists, makers, creative businesses and anyone with an interest in visual arts, architecture and design.

Join us on Wednesday 19 October for the third Stars on Starting Out talk in the series, by artist Jessica Voorsanger.

Jessica Voorsanger is a multimedia artist whose work explores popular culture and society's obsession with fame and celebrity, in particular the relationship between fan and idol.

In this talk, Jessica will discuss her career to date, and explore successful strategies for starting out in the creative industries. Jessica will be introduced by Sheffield-based artist Alison J Carr.
