Persistence Works

Persistence Works: A Factory for Art Production

Set in a bold, concrete brutalist structure designed by Feilden Clegg Bradley Architects, Persistence Works is a pioneering art studio complex and the first of its kind in the UK.

With over 50 purpose-built studios, this centre for art production supports a wide range of artistic practices, from large-scale fabrication to ceramics and metalwork. This grand, cathedral-like building fosters creativity on a professional scale, where even the smallest architectural details, such as exposed fixings and custom-designed door handles, celebrate the making process.

Alongside well-equipped incubation spaces Silver Space and Clay Space, Persistence Works is also home to the Kiln Yard and and two public galleries for exhibitions and events.
