You’re invited to our online Open Studios on 21st and 22nd November! The second lockdown has unfortunately left us unable to open our doors this year, but we’re hoping to capture some of what makes Open Studios so special using our online platforms.

• We’ll be helping you to MEET ARTISTS and SEE THEIR STUDIOS through a bucket load of our Artist Spotlight “meet the maker” posts which we’ll share throughout the weekend.
• You’ll be able to VIEW ARTWORK via our online gallery, and BUY ARTWORK from some of our artists who are offering special promotions. Not to mention the traditional silent auction from our Silversmithing and Jewellery Starter Studio!
• A fan of our WORKSHOPS and ACTIVITIES? We’ll be sharing a mix of live and prerecorded video demonstrations and talks, so you can see what our artists are all about and get involved at home.

• Browse paintings, drawings, prints and more in our free Virtual Gallery - with contact details for the artists should you wish to buy or arrange a viewing. All weekend.
• Silent auction with Studio 10 on their Instagram; all proceeds will help these emerging Silversmiths & Jewellers to deliver their first exhibition next year. All weekend.
• Seconds & Samples Sale with Pottery West; get up to 50% off this desirable and in-demand tableware made in Sheffield. Launches 9am on Saturday via their website.

ACTIVITIES, TALKS & DEMONSTRATIONS

• Make your own sock monster doll with Sil Devilly. You'll need a sock, something to stuff it with, some wool, buttons and a needle and thread. Send us some pictures of your Sock Monster and we'll share them online! (This prerecorded content will be available from Saturday at 10am on our Facebook page.)
• Ceramic Boats demonstration with Brian Holland. Watch well-loved ceramicist Brian Holland making some lovely ceramic boats at a slow and gentle pace. • Live Artist Talk with Alison Churchill, followed by a 'water drawing demonstration' - Saturday at 2pm on our Facebook page.
• Two artist talks with Paul Evans, "Why I Paint Abstracts" on Saturday and "Why I Paint Landscapes" on Sunday - both at 11.30am on our Facebook page.
• Live talk and jewellery showcase with Fiona McAlear on her Instagram - time TBD.
