Ever wondered what artists get up to in their creative spaces? Our Open Studios is a rare opportunity to venture inside our two Sheffield City Centre buildings and see over 100 artists and makers from over 30 different disciplines at work. There really is something for everyone!
Open Studios is a chance to catch a glimpse into the creative process, chat with the artists and makers and even buy work direct from the space it comes to life in.
As well as our purpose-built Persistence Works complex, we are also opening our stunning Exchange Place Studios. Exchange Place occupies a grand art deco style building in Castlegate; a treasure trove of fine artists and craftspeople that is quite literally hidden in plain sight! As well as satisfying your curiosity by exploring the studios, we have two excellent exhibitions from Art in the Home and Painterly Exchange.
Wrap up warm and enjoy coffee served at both studios by local independents Motore Café and Albies Coffee, as well as free drop-in art sessions with Fem Sorcell and members of Painterly Exchange.
