Bryony Penman is from Bedford in Bedfordshire and

studied Design and Craft at Brighton University, specialising in ceramics and woodwork.

“I create works that makes the user to question our daily experiences with objects. Currently this is in the form of ceramic tableware that has a modern and elegant aesthetic”.

Bryony is looking forward to working at Manor Oaks Studios and aims to produce a range of tableware that is modern, elegant as well as practical. Through the mentors' support she hopes to start and nurture her business over the next few years as this solid foundation will be key to my success.

Bryony and nine of her peers from her course in Brighton will be showing their graduate work at Tent London during the London Design Festival that runs from 20th to 23rd September

Bryony will be based in studio 4 at Manor Oaks Studios
