As the Great Pottery Throw Down hits our screens, the Crafts Council launches Hey Clay! to offer people free opportunities to get creative across the UK.

Hey Clay! is part of the BBC’s Get Creative campaign and runs from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th December 2015. The weekend is a celebration of everything clay, giving everyone the chance to have some fun and unleash their inner potter!

Yorkshire Artspace studio holders Anna-Mercedes Wear and Sarah Villeneau have been selected to take part and will be holding workshops for you to get involved in!

Join ceramic artist Sarah Villeneau for a drop-in session exploring simple modelling techniques and applying textures to clay at Exchange Place Studios between 11am-2pm on Friday 4th December.

Or sign up for a two hour workshop with Anna-Mercedes Wear to explore sculpting and modelling animals from clay. Anna-Mercedes will be holding two workshops in her studio at Manor Oaks on Saturday 5th December between 10am - 12pm and 2pm - 4pm.
