Charlie Hill, artist on our Engaged Practice Starter Studio Programme is now nearing the end of her second year in Parson Cross.  She recently made a successful application to the local Community First funding pot which support local activity.  Charlie devised her Exploring Nature project to encourage people to engage with nature around them in creative ways. 

As Charlie explains: "We’re getting back to nature in Parson Cross this November with funding from Community First and the support of the Parson Cross Initiative we are delivering free sessions exploring nature in different creative ways. The last two weeks have included jam and jelly making with seasonal fruit, hunting for bugs with local families in Parson Cross Park and we still have chutney making, walking and writing, willow weaving and a celebration event showcasing the work all to come!!"
