My project is looking into the real experiences of new parents - both the good and the bad.  In July, I planned and held origami 'mobile making' tasters for new parents at the Learning Zone in PArson Cross, which gave me an opportunity to discuss parenthood in depth.  While not immensely successful in attracting lots of participants, the results of the conversations that came out of these sessions have made a significant impact on my work, which continues to develop in two-dimensional media.

It has not been an easy process so far, but a challenging one, and it has pushed my thinking on several levels. I am challenging my own ways of working as well as the work that I produce.
