Richard Johnson presents Dark Peak / Demi Paradise, a series of new landscape paintings inspired by remote parts of the Peak District.

The works emerged following a personal tragedy which saw Richard regularly escape to the hills in search of solitude. In this way, his representations of sites including Lost Lad, Hope Brink and Lightens Edge become images of sanctuary charged with emotion.

Presented chronologically, the exhibition illustrates a journey of grief and healing that is still unfolding.
