Being Water

Alison Churchill: Being Water
7th - 28th March, 2020
Monday - Saturday, 11am - 4pm

Exchange Place Studios
Exchange Street, S2 5TR

Alison Churchill presents 'Being Water', an immersive installation featuring large abstract drawings and light projections inspired by the dazzling reflections and patterns on the millponds, streams and rivers of the Porter Valley.

The exhibition and series of related talks and workshops explore the mystery, energy and transformative power of water, and its relationship to the life force. Situated at Exchange Place at the confluence of the rivers Sheaf and Don, the exhibition also makes links with Sheffield's 'River Daylighting' and regeneration projects.
