Studio holder Michael Borkowsky would like to invite you to 'PLAY!' - an exhibition curated and devised by him and artist Sharon Mossbeck which looks at the theme of video games within a fine art context. The show includes the work of 11 artists, each highlighting how the experience of video gaming can be extended into the physical world, with thr capacity to express though, act as metaphor, communicate abstract concepts and allow for peronal reflection. The work displayed covers a range of disciplines including painting, collage, illustration, printmaking, sculpture, poetry and digital media. Opening event: 3rd October 5.30-8pm at Access Space, Sheffield.  Many of the artists will be attending this night, with one artist performing a reading of his work and with chip-tune music provided by Curious Machine. The event promises to be fun and may well just alter and further your perception of gaming and what gaming can be. Exhibition runs from 3rd-31st October so there are plenty of chances to catch the show.
