As well as providing affordable studio space, we combine support for artists and makers with meaningful opportunities for community engagement, often working in partnership with local organisations and businesses, schools, colleges and universities.
We’ve been involved in engaging people of all ages with art and artists for over 25 years. Through our programme we focus on engagement with neighbourhoods known to have low take-up of the city's cultural offer.
We have an active gallery programme offering opportunities for artists and makers to show and develop new work in spaces at both of our studio complexes. We also provide opportunities for creative professional development via our Starter Studio programmes and many of our artists also undertake work and commissions in the public realm.

We are seeking a new Premises Manager to develop and manage our two studio complexes in Sheffield city centre. Serving a community of more than 150 artists and craftspeople, you will manage the operation and maintenance of both buildings and lead on strategic planning that ensures the studios and related facilities are high-quality, safe, and affordable spaces in which to work.
