Overview
Yorkshire Artspace’s main building is Persistence Works, a custom-built studio complex in Sheffield city centre that provides workspace for 70 artists in 53 studios, our administrative base, a meeting room, large project space and exhibition area in the reception. We are actively extending the number of studios we offer with 36 new studios planned in different areas of the city during 2009-11.
Our most recently opened new studios are Porter Brook Studios, located in Sheffield city centre next door to Persistence Works.
In 2010/11 we are due to open two brand new purpose-built studios in different areas of the city: Manor Oaks Studios in S2 and Knutton Road Studios in Parson Cross, S6.
