Exchange Place Studios is our latest city centre studio complex in a stunning 6 floor Art Deco building. The fascinating history of the building is explored by historian Amanda Marshall in 'The Three Lives of a Sheffield Icon', downloadable on the right of the page.
The building is on Exchange Street in historic Castlegate area of Sheffield. Facing on to Victoria Quays, Exchange Place Studios are a five minute walk to the train station, close to most city centre bus routes and have limited contract parking in the basement. The Castlegare area is currently undergoing a complete transformation, with the demolition of Castle Market and the revealing of the remains of Sheffield Castle.
The 62 studios have beautiful big windows to the North, South, East and West with views across the city. The building is warm and toasty thanks to being on the District Energy Network.
Facilities: 24/7 access, FREE WiFi throughout, three staircases (one is very wide), passenger lift, loading bay to the side, communal sinks on each floor, project space, education space, common room and kitchen on the ground floor, office which is open Monday to Friday 9.30am-4pm for deliveries/collections and enquiries (Thursdays 11am-4pm).
Studio availability is updated regularly on the Homepage.
