Yorkshire Artspace is soon to be extending its studio base beyond its current 53 studios at Persistence Works in the city centre, with the provision of around 36 new studios for artists and makers in different areas of the city.
We are planning three new sites across Sheffield: Porter Brook Studios, situated next door to Persistence Works in the city centre; Knutton Road Studios in Parson Cross (S5) and Manor Oaks Studios off the Sheffield Parkway in Manor (S2). The developments are the result of exciting neighbourhood renewal projects in specific areas in Sheffield, strengthening partnerships with key organisations in those neighbourhoods, and the growing demand for studio space for visual artists and makers in Sheffield.
